Reading boss Brian McDermott is eager to add to his squad ahead of the Premier League campaign.

McDermott has been busy bringing fresh faces into his Reading squad this summer, as they ready themselves for a return to the Premier League, and he hopes another piece of business will be completed in the not too distant future.

He said: "We have made an offer for a player which has been on-going for a number of weeks. We will wait and see.

"No names, not at the moment. He's in England, it's a player that we have targeted for a number of weeks now. We are hopeful that we can get it done."
