Rangers boss Ally McCoist has not ruled out a move for former Ibrox hero Nacho Novo.
The 32-year old Spanish striker, currently with Sporting Gijon, has been training with 'Gers during the La Liga winter break and although McCoist has not held official talks with him, he is keeping the door ajar for a possible January inclusion.
"We obviously welcomed him with open arms and the wee man looked great.
"He was the same wee Nacho that the Rangers supporters loved for many years here and he is a player that we know has been over the course and distance here.
"But, at this moment in time, I can't tell you anything other than he was looking good. I can't say we are interested and I can't rule out interest in any other player either.""Nacho was back home for Christmas and New Year and phoned us up and asked to come in and do a bit of training," said McCoist.
