Rangers boss Ally McCoist has targeted a rapid return to the UEFA Champions League for his club.
The Ibrox outfit currently sit in Scotland's Third Division after falling into liquidation in the summer but that has not stopped McCoist from setting a goal of again playing in Europe's top flight as soon as possible.
Prior to Celtic's clash with Barcelona last night, McCoist admitted that he would love to be in Neil Lennon's position but made it clear that the dream of competing in the Champions League was well and truly alive on the blues side of Glasgow.
"I'll be honest with you, I know where I would rather be tonight and that is at the Nou Camp against Barcelona, " he told Sky Sports News yesterday.
"But we are where we are. I wish them well but we will be back there soon, hopefully sooner rather than later. It will be a tough task. Everyone wants to play at the top level and we are no different.
"Hopefully we can get back to the Champions League as that is where we want to be and where our fans want us to be."
'Gers currently sit on top of the fourth tier table with 15 points from eight matches ahead of Sunday's trip to Clyde and are also still alive in the League Cup with an impending fixture against Inverness on Wednesday.
