Ally McCoist was so disappointed for the loyal supporters of Rangers Football Club on the weekend.
The 'Gers faithful turned up to Ibrox in their droves for Saturday's league clash with Kilmarnock just days after the reigning Scottish champions fell into administration.
Despite the financial shortcomings of the club, the fans were showing their full support and McCoist was frustrated that his players could not deliver the required result with Killie scoring a 1-0 victory to further dampen the mood.
"The fans were everything we expected them to be. I'm just gutted we couldn't get them the win.
"We need everybody to stick together and be positive and if we do that, we've got a real fighting chance.""The support was unbelievable. I was sitting upstairs in the office at 1.30pm and the noise outside was incredible," he said.
