James McClean is delighted to have completed his shift from Sunderland to Wigan Athletic.
The 24-year old Irish winger has signed a three-year deal with the Latics for a fee of £2million and is loking forward to getting started with the Championship outfit.
"I'm delighted to be signing," he said.
"You can see this is a club moving in the right direction again and I can't wait to be a part of that. I know James McCarthy very well and he's said only good things about the place."
