Hull City boss Steve Bruce is moving for FC Twente midfielder Willem Janssen on recommendation of Steve McClaren.

The Mirror says Janssen played for former England manager McClaren during his second spell in charge at Dutch outfit Twente and proved to be a key player in the side.

McClaren has informed Bruce that the 27-year-old, a former Holland U-21 international, is suited to English football and would be a huge asset on Hull's impending return to the Premier League.
