Former England coach Steve McClaren is in the frame for the Wigan Athletic job.
The former England manager resigned from Dutch club FC Twente in February and is currently working as a TV pundit at the Under-21s European Championships in Israel.
And on his return, McClaren will head straight for talks with Wigan chairman Dave Whelan who had to sift through a backlog of applicants, says the Daily Star.
