Former England and Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren is on the brink of a remarkable title triumph with FC Twente.
McClaren, working with a fraction of the budget of PSV Eindhoven, Ajax and Feyenoord, saw his Twente move within one win of the Eredivisie title after beating Feyenoord 2-0 in Enschede on Sunday.
McClaren's men remain a point clear of Ajax - who thrashed Heracles Almelo 4-0 - with just one game to go.
A win at mid-table NAC Breda next weekend will be enough to claim the crown irrespective of what Ajax manage at NEC Nijmegen.
Twente had to work hard to see off Feyenoord but a goal in each half from Blaise Nkufo and Miroslav Stoch proved enough.
