Steve McClaren has been assured Wolfsburg will not panic over their poor start to the season.
The Wolves have lost their first three games of the Bundesliga season under new English coach McClaren, but GM Dieter Hoeness insists it is still early in the campaign and he is keeping calm, at least for the time being.
"Certainly there are a few things which have gone unsatisfactorily, but I will not get the hammer out and start smashing things," he told the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.
"The situation is certainly not critical. It would be wrong to start taking action."
