Manchester United reserves coach Brian McClair has highlighted the progress of three of his young players this season.
McClair told ManUtd.com: "We're just happy to have had such a competitive season. The players have all developed and there have been some great performances.
"Tom Cleverley has been a terrific professional. His performances have been right up there, no matter what position he's been asked to play. He's taken everything on board and understood exactly what he's supposed to do, and he just loves going out and playing football. He's a joy to work with.
"Richard Eckersley is another one who has been asked to play in a multitude of positions all across the park. He's very much an enthusiastic and determined football player, and when you look at him you see what determination and belief in yourself can get you in football, and in life."
