James McCarthy has welcomed Aiden McGeady to Everton.

The former Spartak Moscow winger plays with McCarthy for the Republic of Ireland.

"It's a good bit of business for the Club and I'm sure he'll do well here," McCarthy told evertontv. "I didn't have to sell the Club to him, I think he knows all about the Club and obviously he's delighted to be here.

"He's a tricky winger and I'm sure he'll do well."
