Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is eyeing a lift thanks to the Republic of Ireland's Euros qualification.

Stephen Ward, Stephen Hunt and Kevin Doyle could all feature in the finals.

McCarthy, a former Ireland boss himself, said: "They have to maintain their place in the Ireland team and they've got to keep their places HERE.

"It's a motivator that can only be good news for us."
