Crystal Palace defender Paddy McCarthy has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the club until the end of the season. He has so far been restricted to two Capital One Cup appearances this season but is delighted to have committed his future to the club.
"I'm delighted, it gives me a bit of security and allows me to remain settled at the club," he said.
"I've worked my socks off over the past couple of years to get back fit and I'm really pleased to be out on the pitch in amongst the action."
