Gavin McCann may have played his last game for Bolton Wanderers.

The experienced midfielder, whose last appearance came in the 4-2 defeat against Arsenal in January, has been told he will require surgery to the ankle injury that has plagued him since the turn of the year.

And with his contract due to expire this summer, it leaves a big question mark over the 32-year-old's future at the Reebok, says the Bolton News.
