Former Liverpool star Jason McAteer is excited about the young attacking talent at manager Brendan Rodgers' disposal.
McAteer is hoping for big things from Jordon Ibe, new signing Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling.
"I'm very much looking forward to seeing the likes of Adam Lallana, the progression of Raheem Sterling and to see if Jordon Ibe can push for a first-team place," he told LFCTV GO.
"For me, Sterling looks as though he feels he belongs in the first team now; he's developed very well and we're seeing the best of him.
"I'm also looking forward to seeing Daniel Sturridge become the main striker. Being the main man, I think, will help him flourish and I'm expecting a big season from him."
