James McArthur expects to stay with Wigan Athletic despite their relegation.

The midfielder is confident of his place in the Scotland squad.

"I haven't thought about how going down a division will impact my prospects with Scotland.

"I'll do my best to try and get picked. If the manager selects me I'll be very happy and if he doesn't I'll work harder to try and get back into the plans."
