McArthur felt sorry for West Brom's Brunt facing Crystal Palace pal Zaha

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur felt for West Brom fullback Chris Brunt last weekend up against Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha gave the Northern Ireland international the run around for the whole 90 minutes at Selhurst Park and won a penalty against him at the end.

"He was brilliant, he was unplayable on Saturday," said McArthur to the Croydon Advertiser.

"I've mentioned before that you don't want to come up against Wilfried in training. I felt sorry for West Brom's Chris Brunt, he had a tough test.

"But not just Brunt, I think Wilfried can do against any player in the Premier League.

"The manager said before the game they could double up on Wilfried and that we don't try to force it too much.

"But he was on his game and you always felt if there were three or four players around him, he'd get out of it and beat them."
