Reading captain Jobi McAnuff will make a decision on his future at the club at end of the season.
The 31-year old midfielder comes out of contract in 2014 but may assess his options if the Royals are relegated from the Premier League.
"We'll have a look at it, obviously, once that time comes," said McAnuff, who side sits 10 points behind 17th-placed Aston Villa.
"We've got a few games here to make the most of it - we have to try to dig in and get results. We've all got our own pride and we don't want to finish bottom, that's for sure. So we'll be trying to pick up as many points as we can between now and the end of the season and address things then."
