Mbokani to leave Anderlecht with West Brom ready to swoop

West Bromwich Albion are believed to be waiting in the wings for Dieumerci Mbokani.

The Congolese striker says he wants to leave Belgian club Anderlecht this summer with suggestions that he could be on his way to The Hawthorns.

"I will leave Anderlecht this summer. There are clubs that want me and the club knows my feelings and understands them," he said.

Former Baggies loanee Romelu Lukaku, who will return to Chelsea this summer, hinted that Albion would be the perfect club for Mbokani.

"Dieu has won titles in Belgium, and it's time for something else," he said.

"West Brom is a good club. They can offer him a new challenge."
