PSG star Kylian Mbappe has jumped to the defence of France teammate Paul Pogba.

The Manchester United midfielder goes into the World Cup under huge pressure from Les Bleus fans and pundits.

But Mbappe insists: "He's important.

"He played the last World Cup, he played the Euros, he plays in a big club, he experienced his transfer to Manchester. He is a great player and the big players are always bosses in their team.

"He has this personality that makes him take a lot of people with him along his way. And we are ready to follow him."
