Modeste M'Bami has walked out on Wigan Athletic.

The People says Latics manager Roberto Martinez offered free agent M'Bami a one-month contract after a couple of appearances for the Latics reserves.

But the former Marseille player took offence and packed his bags because he wanted a longer deal.
