Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino is being linked with Watford.

Firenzeviola.it says Watford boss Walter Mazzarri is driving a deal to bring Corvino to England.

The pair are close and Mazzarri has recommended Corvino's appointment to Gino Pozzo, the owner at Watford.

Corvino has been missing from public appearances at Fiorentina over the past three to four weeks, fueling talk that he could soon be leaving.

And it's now suggested the transfer guru's destination could soon be confirmed as Watford.
