Mazzarri: Napoli can be Italy's Barcelona
Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri can see his team becoming the Barcelona of Serie A.
Discussing Fabio Quagliarella's poor form this season, Mazzarri says there's many options open to him.
He said: “Quagliarella was not in good shape, but he can return to being the player we all know, albeit in a different way.
“There are so many options for a player of his talent. He could even work in an Antonio Cassano style by gathering the ball out wide and cutting in. He has what it takes.
“One day I hope to field [Marek] Hamsik, [Ezequiel] Lavezzi, [German] Denis and Quagliarella together, but we’d need to keep the ball for 80 per cent of the match.
“Basically we’d be like Barcelona, even if there they have many years of hard work behind them.”
