Mazzarri insists he can fix Inter Milan woes

Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri insists he can fix their problems after defeat to Fiorentina.

Fiorentina thumped Inter 3-0, with Khouma Babacar and Juan Cuadrado both getting on the scoresheet.

"Anything I say after a 3-0 is going to be wrong. I have a clear view of what our problems are, which we managed to hide in the Europa League, but emerged against Cagliari and again tonight," Mazzarri told Sky Sport Italia.

"I need to shake up the team, but I already knew we weren't in good physical shape. I told the lads we have to work hard over the next 15 days so we're in a different condition when we get back on to the pitch. It'll be tough, as many of them will be away on international duty.

"I changed the systems today and there was a reaction at the start of the second half, but we were unable to turn chances into goals and we conceded the third.

"It is difficult to have a vehement reaction in a stadium like this against a team like Fiorentina, not with the problems we already have. The club and my collaborators already know what buttons we have to push over the next 15 days.

"I wouldn't say we don't have our own concept of football, as don't forget we've played some very good games this season.

"I know how this world is, that anything I say will be taken the wrong way. In the locker room all the players know what's wrong and took on their share of the responsibility."
