Walter Mazzarri has no regrets taking the Inter Milan job. Inter have struggled in preseason under their new coach.
"Of course I'd make the same choice in coming to Inter," he told the Corriere dello Sport. "Why wouldn't I?
"What made the difference for me in my decision was what the President said to me," he explained. "His words ignited the fire inside of me.
"His discussion with me was beautiful and it instantly gave me motivation. We understood each other immediately.
"I already had a good idea about Moratti and Inter, that conversation strengthened my convictions. What we said will remain private, but, from that moment, I thought of nothing else apart from Inter."
