Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has thanked his players for backing him in the media.

Mazzarri's future is in doubt as he baulks at committing to a new contract.

"I am happy the players think highly of me and I thank them. I have always been relaxed in that respect. I'm also pleased they realise how tricky tomorrow's game will be, as we've seen that every match is completely unpredictable.

"I hope the fans can help us too for 95 minutes and I'd like for them to applaud everyone, even if they are substituted."
