Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri was left disappointed with their performance in defeat to AC Milan.
Nigel de Jong hit the only goal of the game midway through the second-half.
"We didn't play well tonight, as everyone saw. We did better in the first half, but cared so much about this game that we used up a lot of nervous energy beforehand. We weren't ourselves.
"Unfortunately this season has been up and down. Milan were more vehement in the tackle and first to the ball, so they won," the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
"We were all downhearted and there was nothing to say. I already have in mind what I will say to the team tomorrow morning. We have to put this behind us, learn from it and prepare for Lazio.
"Now we have to try and get as high up the table as possible, the situation is still in our hands and we've got to play better than this."
