Sampdoria coach Walter Mazzarri was delighted to see Antonio Cassano get off the mark in yesterday's 3-0 thumping of Atalanta.

He said: "Antonio Cassano is on his way back and this is a very important goal, but he has always given his contribution to the side when he came on.

"Soon enough he will be a first team regular, but we mustn't force the issue. I always give him plenty of advice."
