Maxwell insists Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to stay with Barcelona. The pair joined Barca last summer from Inter Milan and share the same agent.
Maxwell said: "I see Ibra inside the club, he's well rested and enthusiastic. Last season was very difficult for him, but he has great quality and can do a lot for team.
"People tend to ignore that."
The Brazilian fullback added: "He always works hard to do his best and competition for minutes is normal for a team like Barca."
