Mavuba: Liverpool's Cole wants Lille stay

Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole wants a permanent deal at Lille.

That's the claim of Lille teammate Rio Mavuba.

Mavuba says the former Chelsea star would be interested in remaining in France when his loan agreements ends in May.

"I think Joe really wants to stay because he takes pleasure playing for this team," said Mavuba.

"Now it is up to the board to work it out with him."
