Matuidi insists PSG can handle Chelsea without Ibrahimovic

PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi insists they won't miss Zlatan Ibrahimovic tonight at Champions League opponents Chelsea.

The Swedish striker was injured in the first leg of the quarter-final against Chelsea, which PSG won 3-1.

Matuidi said: "Zlatan's our top goalscorer and our top assist maker and he's scored a lot of goals for this club.

"Of course he's an essential player missing from our side but I think we have a lot of players who are able to replace him, world class players.

"I'm thinking particularly about Edinson Cavani, who's also scored a lot of goals.

"I think in the past we've shown we can deal without Zlatan when he's not in the side so I think it's important as a club to do everything in our power for Zlatan to be able to take part in the semi-finals because I'm sure he'd like to be there."
