Matt Taylor has urged Bolton Wanderers fans to get behind the players today against Arsenal.

Taylor is anxious for the fans to give their full backing to the side after former manager Gary Megson failed to win over a section of the support during his 26-month reign.

He said: "They probably don't realise just what an influence they have. For me, there is nothing like playing football when they are completely 100% behind you.

"But the fans weren't and I'm not going to sit here and say that didn't filter down to the players, because it did.

"No matter how hard you try and block something like that out, it takes its toll, on some more than others.

"But I do not want to dwell on the past. It is about how we do now for Bolton and we are ready to go again on the pitch."
