All-star goalkeeper Matt Reis has re-signed a new contract to play for the New England Revolution.

Per MLS and team policies, terms of the deal were not released.

Reis, who has played more games in goal (188) - and started more games in goal (187) - than any other Revolution goalkeeper, holds nearly every career club goalkeeping record, including goals against average (1.29), wins (75), saves (757), shutouts (50) and saves percentage (.729).

"We are very pleased Matt has decided to remain with the Revs," Revolution Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Burns said. "Not only has he been one of the league's top goalkeepers, but he's been a tremendous leader for us both on and off the field. We're looking forward to him continuing his stellar career in New England and anchoring our team."
