Mats Daehli admits he may seek a transfer from Championship outfit Cardiff City.
The talented 19-year-old has been out of favour at the Bluebirds since fellow Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was replaced by Russell Slade as manager last month.
"My situation at Cardiff is not optimal at all at the moment," said the former Manchester United junior.
"A month without playing is OK, but it can't continue like this to be honest. We will have to see about a move in January, but I need to play now.
"I had a chat with Russell Slade, but what was said will have to remain just between the two of us."
