Matias Silvestre sees Palermo as stepping stone to bigger club

Matias Silvestre sees Palermo as a stepping stone to a bigger club.

The 27-year-old only joined the Rosanero from Sicilian rivals Catania in the summer, but another move could be on the horizon.

"He is tied to Palermo by a four-year deal, but I think he may receive a call from one of the big teams in June," Fernando Cosentino told TMW.

"Matias has done really well with Palermo from the start even though it wasn't easy to make a move from Catania to the Rosanero.

"He's happy at Palermo, but if an important offer arrived, and I think one will, we'll all agree so that he could join a big club."
