Materazzi urges Inter to go for AC Milan striker Pato

Inter Milan legend Marco Materazzi has called on his old club to buy AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.

The Treble-winning defender, who was also a key figure in Italy’s 2006 World Cup triumph, spoke to RMC Radio about the all-San Siro battle for Carlos Tevez.

“Tevez? If I were Inter, I’d immediately sign Pato,” insisted Materazzi.

“He is one of the strongest strikers in circulation right now. I don’t think Tevez will arrive.”
