Materazzi delighted to play out career at Inter Milan

Marco Materazzi is delighted with his new three-year contract at Inter Milan.

The experienced defender said: "Now I can say it, because I wrote it on a contract: I will be Nerazzurri for life. This is not just a saying. I could not leave for my holidays more satisfied to have extended my contract with Inter until 2012, so until the end of my career.

"It was what I always wanted, ever since I became an Inter fan, at least as a player.

"This will take me up to 39 - wearing this shirt."
