Italian agent Matteo Materazzi says Inter Milan chief Marco Branca - not coach Claudio Ranieri - deserves blame for their problems this season.

Matteo is the brother of Inter icon Marco Materazzi, who was ferried out of the Nerazzurri last year.

"I think the problem is who at Inter is in charge of the market right now, we should not blame the coach," said Materazzi.

"I have already criticized in August the operations performed by Branca. However, one season can be excused after so many victories."
