Materazzi again apologises to Inter Milan fans for spotkick gaffe

Marco Materazzi has again apologised to Inter Milan fans for his spotkick gaffe on Sunday.

"I started this blog to dialogue with the fans, but I won't do that this week," began Matrix on his official website.

"That is not because I have nothing to say or don't want to show my face. I always have done and did so again by apologising for that missed penalty and saying I will try once more to lift my head and keep looking forward."

Following the latest disappointing result that cut their lead over Roma to one point, Inter announced a Press silence so none of its players will speak to the media in the run-up to the final game with Parma.

"It was simply right that I follow the directions given by the club, who would prefer to avoid any type of comment this week. It is another method of concentrating 100 per cent and focusing only on Sunday."
