AS Roma matchwinner Mirko Vucinic was delighted with victory over Inter Milan last night. The Montenegrin was yet to find the net this season, but came off the bench and his diving header at the 92nd minute sent the Olimpico wild.
"It is worth so much both for me and the team, but when a striker scores, it is always to be considered a positive thing," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"I must say the fans were the greatest thing about tonight. We beat a fantastic squad, so everything is fine.
"We are aware that we are a very strong team. I don't know what was missing. If we'd have known that, we wouldn't have waited this long for a victory.
"Despite the situation, we didn't let our heads drop and we worked very hard."
