"The fans were incredible today. He has a family and needs to do what he feels is best. We are all here waiting for him," shrugged Pato when asked about Kaka's situation.

"I did my job well and am happy Milan emerged with three points. Now we have to prepare for the next game.
"The credit goes to the team, who allow me to play in a relaxed manner and I just love playing football.
"We had a good game tonight and came away with three important points."
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said: "Pato is an extraordinary talent who is now finding consistency and clinical finishing. I think he will improve a great deal and consistently score at these levels, as he has immense quality.
"We played a good first half both in attack and defence, then we just started to focus on too many long balls and that allowed Fiorentina back in."
