Mata thrilled for Chelsea pal Torres over breaking goals drought

Juan Mata is delighted Chelsea teammate Fernando Torres is over his scoring drought.

The Chelsea wideman admits his team-mate felt the pain during his drought.

Mata said: "He went through a tough period. He was suffering because he was not scoring. He is playing more often now and he is regaining trust in himself."

Mata is also backing a rejuvenated Torres to force his way into the Euro 2012 side as Spain defend their title.

He added: "In the end, I think Torres will be at the Euros, He has enough credit to play for Spain."
