Juan Mata says Chelsea's foreign players know full well the extent of their rivalry with Capital One Cup opponents Leeds United.

Frank Lampard has already briefed the Chelsea dressing room on what to expect at Leeds and put his pals on a war footing - so there is no excuse for the foreign players claiming ignorance afterwards.

Spanish winger Juan Mata revealed: "We know the history of Chelsea and Leeds.

"They are always difficult games, competitive between supporters. We just want to play and if it is possible to win. Lampard told me about the rivalry."
