Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata believes the team is in good enough form to take it right up to Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
United find themselves in a decent position against the European title-holders ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Allianz Arena following last week's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Mata scored twice as the Red Devils defeated Newcastle United 4-0 at St James' Park on the weekend and the Spaniard feels that has heightened their confidence ahead of the trip to Munich.
"It's a key victory to try to climb the table and go to Germany full of confidence," Mata wrote on club's official website.
"This victory gives us a lot of energy for our game in Munich on Wednesday.
"I'll be supporting from home, in front of the TV, aware that the Allianz Arena is one of the toughest stadiums in Europe... but also aware that we are Manchester United and I'm sure we can make it through!"
