Juan Mata says Chelsea thoroughly deserve to play in the Champions League next season.
The Blues gave themselves every chance of wrapping up third spot with a 1-0 victory at Manchester United on Sunday and Mata hopes they can continue their recent form in their remaining matches in order to clinch another berth in Europe's top show.
"We have three more games to play in the Premier League, and the only thing we want is to win as many as we can because I think Chelsea deserve to play in the Champions League next season," Mata, whose late deflected shot won it for Chelsea, told Sky Sports.
"If we play together like today I think we can do it. It was a very important result for us. It was like a final and we have another great game next week so we will try to win and to be a little bit closer to our aim which is to be third.
"I'm scoring more goals than ever. I'm really happy for it. The only thing I want is to keep scoring, keep assisting and keep helping my team until the end."
