Juan Mata is full of praise for Manchester United fans.

Mata is particularly impressed by the way they've welcomed David de Gea back into the fold.

"I have huge respect for them for the way they stayed with us and kept supporting us when things have not gone as well as we all wanted," he told Onda Cero.

"I was asked about how the supporters would react to David and I never doubted it.

"The first time he ran to the Stretford End he was received brilliantly and I knew that would happen to him."
