Juan Mata admits Chelsea players are confident of making a serious title challenge this season.
Successive victories at West Ham and Sunderland have renewed confidence and Mata is anxious to keep the momentum going.
"We are playing good at home, we are getting a lot of points at home but we need to improve away for sure," he told Chelsea TV. "Now we have a very good chance to make it six points away in one week so we will try to win at Stoke as well. It will be hard but I think we can do it.
"For me, this is the most important month. November and December is a period that if you get the points, you will fight for the title, if you don't it will be difficult for you.
"We suffered last season in these months, November was very difficult for us, December as well. But we have the chance to win many points and arrive in January in a very good situation."
