Crystal Palace still have a bumper transfer budget waiting for their next manager.
Palace directors are reluctant to add to the squad before bringing in the new man, though they could be guided by caretaker manager Keith Millen for the remaining days of the market.
It's understood there remains £32 million available for new signings at Palace, which has largely been untouched.
Brede Hangeland, Martin Kelly and Fraizer Campbell have arrived for a combined fee of less than £2 million.
Millen admits it's crucial they strengthen the squad before Monday's deadline.
