Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason was pleased with victory over Sydney FC yesterday.

Mason praised matchwinner Harry Kane after the 1-0 win.

"Over the last few days in Malaysia and now in Australia, everyone has seen first-hand what Harry is capable of," he told the club's website.

"He's done it on a consistent basis all season and hopefully he can continue that on into the future.

"It was a good spectacle for the fans tonight, a good open game. It was a shame there weren't more goals but we're happy to win.

"The whole atmosphere was great, Sydney tried to play the right way, get the ball on the deck and play good football, which resulted in a good match."
