Ryan Mason could be back in action for Tottenham in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The talented midfielder has been sidelined with an ankle injury which he sustained when scoring the winner against Sunderland on September 13.
24-year-old Mason has been included in Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs squad for the Group J meeting with Anderlecht in Belgium and although he is unlikely to start, could feature off the bench in what is a huge boost for the North London club.
Pochettino revealed that a few injured Spurs stars including Nabil Bentaleb, Son Heung-min and Tom Carroll were also nearing a return to fitness but winger Alex Pritchard will remain sidelined for now.
"Mason is in the squad for tomorrow and maybe Sunday," the Argentine told Sky Sports News HQ.
"Maybe he will not play many minutes but he is with us. Nabil Bentaleb is not in the squad but he is close, and so is Sonny and Tom Carroll. Pritchard is different."
